Win tickets to party with Christine and The Kilts

Win! Win! Win!

“Be happy while you’re living, for you’re a long time deid” – Old Scots proverb.

In English it means enjoy life to the fullest.

This is exactly what former Benonian Christine Weir aims to do at her performance held in Sandton from September 18 to 29.

And you can be a lucky winner to one of her performances where you can let your hair down, whip out your dancing shoes and have the time of your life.

Being Scottish born, Weir always found Celtic folklore fascinating, and as a result many of the themes in her compositions revolve around Scottish or Celtic folklore.

“In 2014 after I recorded a lot of my Celtic songs, I decided to stage a Scottish-themed stage show as a vehicle to promote the songs,” she said.

To win a set of double tickets, correctly answer this question:

• What production did Christine Weir’s parents found?

The answer is in this weeks (September 7) City Times newspaper edition, so grab your newspaper, grab your friends newspaper or ask a fellow Benonian to look for the answer in their newspaper.

Answers must be emailed to sheinar@caxton.co.za by September 10 at 10am.

Emails must have “I know the answer” in the subject line, correct answer, name and surname and contact details of the entrant.

Numerous emails from the same entrant will only be considered once.
