Wattville rapper releases mixtape

The mixtape is called Hopes and Dreams.

Tlhaboso Kuali has recently released his 12-track mixtape called Hopes and Dreams.

The Wattville rapper has been doing music since 2012.

The 25-year-old said his mixtape is made of various genres of music such as kwaito, hip-hop and RnB.

Kuali said his songs are inspired by experiences he had when growing up.

“I grew up listening to kwaito and rap,” he said.

His song Ntwana yam’ has received airplay on VOW FM.

“It was a great feeling to hear my song on the radio for the first time,” he said.

Kuali said Ntwana yam’ is the third track on the mixtape.

“It is one of my favourite songs because it speaks about me.”

Apart from his plan to become a successful artist, he would like to see his record label grow.

“I want to help independent artist grow in the industry,” he said
