Magical lights bonanza in Benoni
Christmas lights submissions have been open for a week, and so far we have only one submission.
• Christmas Cottage at 47, 11th Avenue in Northmead.
Christmas lights will be switched on from December 9 to 26 from 7.30pm to 10pm
Santa Claus and Top Dogs will visit on December 15 and 16 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Letters to Santa may be dropped off at the location too, and if you supply a local return address, Mother Christmas will answer all the letters.
If you want to showcase your Christmas-themed lights this year, then submit the following details to sheinar@caxton.co.za:
• When the lights will be on display.
• Duration of the lights being on display (start and end date and times of when the lights will be switched on).
• Address where the lights will be displayed (business, home, organisation).
Responses to the above information will be published in the City Times to give community members an opportunity to visit the locations to witness the bright displays.
