He recently returned from his trip to Ibiza, which he won as part of the competition.

BCT: How was your trip with Black Coffee?

KN: Words cannot fathom the experience.

I have learnt a lot from it.

It has created potential opportunities on the global stage.

Ibiza has a life and energy of its own and can change any normal person into the biggest dreamer because of how optimistic the people are that you meet there and how amplified the nightlife and party life is.

BCT: How has life changed in terms of your career?

KN: There is a lot more self-belief because of the great feedback I got in Europe and, as cheesy as it may sound, I realised there is only one Da Kruk in the entire world, which has helped me believe in my ideas and how I execute them.

BCT: What gigs have you done since your return?

KN: I did the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) which comprised live television appearance and mix at Salto television, the Bull Dog Club and the Supperclub all in Amsterdam and then headlined a party called Sgubhu at the Veedel Club in Cologne, Germany.

Now the biggest plan is gearing up for the South African summer and making the most of all the big festivals I get to play at.

BCT: What are your future plans regarding your music career?

I think from here on it is maximum focus, preparation and lots of investing in my brand.

I am heading back to Germany in February and will probably have a tour of the UK between April and May 2018.
