Vote for Chantel
The beautiful and talented Chantel Blignaut has set her sights on bringing the Mrs South Africa 2018 crown home.
Blignaut was chosen as one of the Mrs SA top 25 finalists on April 28.
The 34-year-old wants to focus on empowering women.
“I will support my local community by bringing hope to those who are less fortunate. I want to help them become self-sustainable,” the Farrarmere resident said.
“I also want to focus on raising funds for the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) and create more awareness about cancer.”
Mrs SA offers married South African women who have real-life careers, families, and hobbies a platform to make a difference and to empower women across South Africa.
When asked how she feels about making it into the Top 25, she said: “It’s an absolute honour and privilege.
“I like that I am part of a sisterhood, I feel empowered and this platform has created an opportunity for me to empower women.”
She added that her journey has been life-changing and has helped her empower women and build lasting friendships.
“However, the most humbling experience was getting to meet cancer survivors and those who are still fighting cancer.”
She holds the title of Mrs Gauteng 2016; her daughter, Chè-Lee Nel (10), holds the title of Miss Pre-Teen Gauteng and her husband, Breydon, was crowned Mr Gauteng 2016.
The Farrarmere resident will make the journey to Emperors Palace on October 6 to hear the outcome of her quest to be Mrs South Africa 2018.

Benoni High School teacher Heloïse Gevers did not make it into the Top 25.
