Beauty queen Bianca has a good heart too

Local beauty queen Bianca Langedyk was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Tourism South Africa for 2017 on March 4.

The Laerskool Rynfield learner knew from a young age that she was destined to be a beauty queen.

Bianca has been crowned with numerous titles, including Miss Petite Africa 2014, Junior Queen of Africa 2014 and Miss Pre-Teen SA 2016.

Bianca’s mother, Nadia, said her daughter’s love for modelling comes from her aunt, Reana van Tonder.

“At the age of three Bianca decided to follow in her aunt’s footsteps to take up modelling as a sport after accompanying her to charity events,” said Nadia.

“From a young age, Bianca set the bar high for herself and we could see that she belonged on the stage.”

The 10-year-old said she entered the pageant to inspire tourism in the country.

The Northmead resident also enjoys giving to those who don’t have.

Bianca and her family have recently moved from Western Cape, where she was involved with a lot of charity work.

“I run a project called ‘goodies for girls’, where we support underprivileged girls with monthly necessities and I want to continue with this project here in Benoni,” the youngster said through her mother.
