Celebrate with The Hellphones

The Hellphones are back. Yes, you heard correctly, this legendary Benoni outfit has risen again and will be embarking on a tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first studio album, “This is How”.

Formed in 2004 by a talented group of misfits, The Hellphones soon developed a dedicated fan base and a reputation as one of the best live acts around.

After spending months playing relentlessly in pubs and clubs across the country, the band found their groove and perfected their sound.

They then went on to secure a record deal with Sheer Records and, in the cold winter of 2006, entered the studio to record their debut album.

Now, 10 years later, the band will return to the stage, so get ready for one hell of a show.

The tour will kick off on July 16, at Grid and Grill (80 Pretoria Road, Rynfield, Benoni – opposite the infamous Bunny Park).

The band will be joined by supporting acts Florida Lake and Strait-Jackal.

The Hellphones will then go on to play at Oppikoppi (their third overall appearance at the festival over the years), followed by several other dates countrywide.
