The much-adored and loved “Dora The Explorer” can be seen in an exciting musical production, at Emperors Palace, until July 12.

Show times for “Dora’s Pirate Adventure” are 11am, 2pm and 6pm, and children under the age of one enter for free, while group discounts are available.

The global phenomenon, which first aired on Nickelodeon as a television series, in the year 2000, provides edutainment for toddlers and young children by teaching them language and numeric skills, and promises to keep the whole family entertained.

“We are pleased to partner with Life Like Touring to bring their new production of Dora’s Pirate Adventure to audiences in South Africa”, said Thomas Kingsley, senior manager, recreation business development at Nickelodeon.

The show will highlight various themes as Dora, along with her best friends, Boots and Diego, set out on a quest to find the ultimate pirate party on Treasure Island.

Along the way, they must navigate over the Dancing Mountain and through the Silly Singing Bridge, in pursuit of the Pirate Piggies, and still overcome the pesky Swiper.
