Spirit of Praise is back

Celebrated SA gospel artists are set to record Spirit of Praise Volume Six at Carnival City, and the public are invited to be a part of the celebration on July 30, at 7pm.

The Dube Brothers will perform at Carnival City for the live recording of Spirit of Praise Volume Six.

“The live DVD recordings of Spirit of Praise are exceptionally popular and attract capacity crowds,” said events and entertainment manager at Carnival City, Matthew Cook.

“We anticipate a full house for the recording of this much-anticipated sixth edition.”

An all new line-up of artists, including Benjamin Dube, Neyi, Omega, Tshepiso, the Dube Brothers, Women in Praise and five surprise guest artists will convene for the live recording of Volume Six.

The event will also feature a new choir selected from auditions held at the end of June, offering aspiring new singers a chance to showcase their talent on stage.

This will be the third time that the Big Top Arena has provided the stage for the live recording of this popular gospel DVD series.

Spirit of Praise Volume Five has received four Crown Gospel Nominations, for Best Praise Song, Best Worship Song, Best Producer and Best Gospel Group, and won the Best Gospel DVD and Best Gospel Group categories in November 2015.
