Voltrex cannot get enough

If you were a green-eyed monster after hearing St Dunstan’s pupils breaking it down for DJ Voltrex, envy no more because the duo will be performing again on Friday (April 22) at The Square at Farrarmere.

The pair will be performing from 3pm to 4pm.

“We are excited to give our best in terms of music,” Sibanda said.

Not only will this duo perform at The Square at Farrarmere, they will also be performing at the Festival @ St Dunstan’s on May 7.

But wait! There’s more!

The two will also be releasing their latest single on the day and performing it live at The Festival.

Voltrex found their love for mixing music at the tender age of 15.

They entered a Battle of the DJs event which was held at the Northgate ice rink in 2011.

Since then, they have never turned their backs on their music career.

Voltrex grew from a duo that performed at ice rinks to becoming the opening act for South African artist, Cassper Nyovest’s Fill Up The Dome concert in 2015.

If you want to party with the two, among other bands at The Festival, events promoter Paul Smith, will be selling tickets at The Square at Farrarmere from noon on Friday.

However, if you cannot buy tickets on the day, tickets are on sale from: St Dunstan’s College and Preparatory School, Wakaberry Oakfields, Harvey World Travel Benoni, RED Boutique (Sheridan Street) in Farrarmere, the Benoni City Times offices and Cynammon Boutique in Northmead Square.

Emails can also be sent to events@stationroad.co.za to book or reserve tickets.

Other DJs and bands that will perform on May 7 are: Gangs of Ballet, Chunda Munki, Moloi.Hesse Band, Johnny Apple, TiMO ODV, DJ Fresh, and Desmond and the Tutus.
