I love to watch, feel and listen to the rain as it brings peace to my soul.
When we were finally hit with the reality that summer is here I thought it wouldn’t be long before the lovely showers of rain start coming down on us.
The reason rain brings peace to my soul is that after it has rained, it feels like a rebirth of the earth.
Everything from the rooftops of buildings, cars, roads, grass, and animals, looks refreshingly clean and beautiful.
The rain cleans and sweeps everything, and above all it has a distinctive smell that you can’t find anywhere else on planet Earth.
Those lucky enough to live near the rivers enjoy the mighty sound made by flowing water.
Flowing water is one of natures’ sonic miracles.
It plays music to my ears — music that no other artist can compose.
It produces every frequency audible to the human ear, from the faint taps of melting snow, to the gurgling flow of a winding brook, to the roaring thunder of a mighty waterfall.
It is refreshing and I long for it.
I so wish it could rain.
Rain brings infinite fun, excitement and an enhanced enjoyment of life.
I always wish rainy days could last forever.
