Benonian in semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing
Former SABC 3 Isidingo actor and Benonian, Ashish Gangapersad, has made it to the top four on Strictly Come Dancing.
The actor, who portrayed the role of gay Prada in the soapie, said he has progressed this far in the most gruelling competition because of his fans’ loyalty and support.
“My strength lies in my people, fans, supporters, friends and family,” he said.
Ashish added that his heartfelt thanks goes out to all of his fans.
“Here’s to the final and only you can take me there,” he said.
He quit the SABC 3 soapie in April, this year, after a five-year spell, to focus on other projects, including a movie and a legal series on which he is working as a producer and writer.
The show is aired live on SABC 3 every Friday, at 8.30pm.
