Pigeons released from Rietrivier
The Benoni Homing Society basketed their pigeons on Thursday, July 3, for a race from Rietrivier - about 480km away.
The young birds were liberated on Saturday, July 5, at 8am and the old birds at 8.45am.
The first young bird arrived at 13:50:37pm, for RA Gullet, at a velocity of 1 355.912mpm, and the first old bird at 14:21:23pm, for TNT Lofts, at a velocity of 1 445.442mpm.
