This was exactly the case at the opening of their latest variety production “Let Me Entertain You” staged at Tom Newby School on Friday, May 16.
The show, directed by Lynsey Jonker and Michael Brownhill, opens with the Robie Williams classic, “Let me entertain you”, that sets an energetic showbiz vibe that is maintained throughout the entire production.
With passionate young performers, exciting costumes and well-produced humour, this musical production is an enjoyable must see for the whole family.
I was especially charmed by the excellent “single ladies'” scene, choreographed by Verna Young.
There is still time to enjoy Let Me Entertain You, at Tom Newby School until May 31.
