Christian metal band records new CD

Christian heavy metal band Forfeit the Untrue has just started recording their album.

The band is working with two vocalists from local Christian heavy metal bands, Adorned in Ash and The Hammer of Redemption, and a vocalist from Fit for a King, one of the biggest international Christian metal bands.

“It is very humbling and an honour to collaborate with these great musicians,” said Craig Palmer, Forfeit the Untrue drummer and percussionist.

Palmer added that this album will be bolder, darker and more intense in terms of Christian metal music.

There will be 11 or 12 songs on the album, and they are recording with a new producer, Clinton Watts, who carried off the Best Producer award at the South African Metal Music Awards..

“The name of the album will be revealed only two to three months before it is released,” he said.

A special edition DVD about the making, writing and recording of the album will be released once the album drops.

The group signed with Kansas record label Sanctus Gladius Records, early last year.

The band is made up of three members, Gideon “Gidz” Karsten (29), drummer and percussionist Craig Palmer (30) and guitarist Mitch Pearson (19).

The current album is being funded by the band.

Anyone who wants to invest in the ministry can contact Palmer on 083 350 9717, or follow the band on Twitter @EYESTOTHESKY13.
