The Dan Triangle Karate Club’s Lusanda Shai, Christopher Thela and Willie Oosthuizen obtained their first black belts while Aubrey Shai graded to second dan at a grading ceremony in Parktown recently. Under the watchful eyes of shihan Malcolm Dorfman and a tough judging panel, they demonstrated their ability in kihon, kata and kumite.
