Turky Legends from Bakerton claimed a three-wicket win over Lenasia side T&B Brothers to be crowned the Actonville Spurs Cricket Club T20 champions at Lords Cricket Ground on September 25.
Sent in to field, they restricted their opponents to 139 runs. T&B could not form any meaningful partnerships as wickets fell at regular intervals.
Legends began their run chase with an excellent opening stand that lay a solid foundation. However, after the partnership was broken, they made it difficult for themselves as they lost wickets cheaply.
They reached their target in the 19th over to win the match by three wickets.
Faizel Behmat won the best bowler of the tournament award, while Mohammed Sufi walked away with the best batsman accolade.
