The competition will take place in Zagreb in the eastern European country from September 22 to 25

Benonians Nikita Correia, Teagan Miller and Kaylie Small will form part of the South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association (SAMCA) team to represent the country at the MWF World Championship in Croatia in September.

They are part of the 55-member South Africa team under the guidance of coaches Celia Opperman, Matthew Higgs and head coach, Greg Simpson.

The trio honed their skills at Rynfield and St Dominics. They earned their national colours for majorettes in March 2020. They were chosen to be part of the national team to compete in the world championship, which was cancelled due to Covid-19.

Nikita and Kaylie are learners at Hoërskool Brandwag while Teagan attends Jeppe High School for Girls.

The competition will take place in Zagreb in the eastern European country from September 22 to 25.
