SAJKA Benoni dojo students awarded national and provincial colours

They won 15 medals at the provincials while accumulating 12 at the national championship

The South African JKA Benoni dojo karatekas recently participated in national and provincial tournaments where they won medals in different disciplines and were also awarded their colours.

They won 10 gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the SAJKA Gauteng Championship while they grabbed seven gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the SAJKA nationals.

SAJKA Benoni dojo junior students were awarded their provincial colours and participated in the SAJKA Gauteng Championship where they claimed medals in both kumite and kata. From left: Daegan Kurten, Xanthus van Vollenstee, Carsen Norris, Kearan McLaughlin and Joshua Dedekind.

Sensei Mike Forner explained that the hard work his students are putting through is paying off.
