Lace up for the 5K Puma Nitro demo run

The 5K Puma Nitro demo run heads to Homestead Dam on September 10.
Jozi runners are invited to join in the fun as part of the build-up to the iconic Absa Run Your City Joburg 10K that will take Heritage Day celebrations to the next level.
Michael Meyer, managing director of Stillwater Sports and founder of the Absa marathon series, said this will be the first time in two years that the event will take place in Joburg, due to the pandemic.
“To say that we are excited to be back in the City of Gold would be an understatement. The demo run is the perfect opportunity to complete a fun 5km run with like-minded individuals. The goal is to get Jozi runners excited and ready for Run Your City Joburg 10K.
“This will be the second-last demo run before race day and we would like to invite all runners to join us,” continued Meyer.
“The run is open to runners of all ages and is free of charge, but you do need to sign up via our social media platforms.”
The run takes place on September 10 at 08:00 at Benoni Recreation Park.
Prizes are up for grabs.
