Cardinals and Indians players off to nationals

The Indians are well represented, with a total of 49 players travelling to Cape Town while the Cardinals are sending 32.

Several players from the Boksburg Cardinals and Benoni Indians have been selected by the Gauteng Province Baseball Council to represent the province at the National Baseball Championship in Cape Town from March 25-30.

U-10
• Benoni – Troy Branders, Liam Cook, Luke de Lange, Adrian Erasmus, Nicholas Frantzekakis, Seth Hains, James Hennessy, Jarred Long, Luke Morgan, Mathew Poietroiusti, Rogan Schwimm, Connor Stevens and Carly Steyn.

• Boksburg – Madison Botha, Amber-Leigh de Kock, Evan Grobler, Chris Hartnick, Chad Maudlin, Troyden Rowntree, Mason Sage and Emily Sole.

U-12
• Benoni – Keagan Brooklyn, Oakley Brooklyn, Josh Cook, Jordan Cope, Leo do Nascimento, Logan Gardner, Tylor Kruger, Riley Long, Keagan Merifield, Tinashe Mutseka and Tatum White.

• Boksburg – Caylum de Wet, Ethan Foley, Rylee Greyvenstein, Daniel Moolman, Cameron Sequiera, Travis Yaffe and Darren Zietsman.
