The Actonville Premier League T20 APLT20 final took place recently with Ceasar XI claiming the win against Gattu XI.
They were captained by Wesley Marshall (a former Easterns pro) and also had the likes of Ryan Rickleton (a South African cricketer) taking part in this tournament.
The tournament served as a fund-raising initiative for the club and was hugely successful.
The prize-giving was done by the Actonville Spurs Cricket Club chairperson, Nayan Parbhoo, who said, “On behalf of the club, I would like to thank all our sponsors and of course the teams who made this tournament a smoking success. We now look forward to the season beginning in October.”
