Club rugby is cancelled for the year

The Valke Union has cancelled rugby for the rest of the season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On July 27, the Valke Rugby Union sent out a letter to all clubs to cancel rugby for the rest of the year.

Jan Wiegand, Valke president, stated in the letter the following:

“After careful consideration, the Valke executive committee has decided to cancel Valke Club League for the 2021 season due to the tremendous impact that the Covid-19 pandemic had on the Valke family. We will start afresh with the new season in 2022 in which we will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Valke Rugby Union. God bless, and stay safe.”
