One of their adult riders, Laurin McLaren and her horse Locarno Nandi, competed in the RSA leg of the annual FEI international competition.

They not only won the SA competition but also won the regional competition, therefore, qualifying for the international final competition to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia during August.

More good news is that McLaren topped the log against international riders.

“All riders across the world jump three legs of the competition in their own country with the same course dimensions across the board,” explained Elize Strydom, social media liaison for Sunny Park.

“The riders are then ranked based on the fastest time and least penalties incurred over the three legs of the competition.

“Sunny Park are incredibly proud of Laurin and wish her all the best in the competitions to come.”
