Promoting cars through basketball
Basketball players from all walks of life were driven up to the rooftop in luxurious cars.
The Aelen Management basketball team recently held a basketball shoot-out contest.
“It was a partnership with Aelen Management and Dadas Motorland to showcase luxury cars through basketball,” explained Michael Murerwa, sport development coordinator.

“We intended to host this event in the East Rand to give the community a sense of pride and belonging that such events can take place here.
“It was also the first tournament of such a nature to take place in South Africa.
“Guests were treated to a tour of the dealership and then led to the rooftop where they enjoyed the basketball shoot-out contest over refreshments,” he said.

He added Dadas Motorland has played a major role in promoting the sport by affording Aelen Management the opportunity to host such an event at their premises.
“Many thanks to the owners. We are looking forward to partnering with the dealership on an even bigger event next year to the benefit of sport in the East Rand,” Murerwa concluded.
