Hosted by South Africa, the 13th edition of the U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 was officially launched at Willowmoore Park Stadium on December 19, last year.
Sixteen countries are currently participating in this tournament in an attempt to dethrone India, who are the current champions.
The results, as of January 31, are as follows:
Group A: Currently at the top of the group is India with 6 pts, followed by New Zealand 3 pts, Srilanka 2 pts and Japan 1 pt.
Group B: Currently at the top of the group is West Indies 6 pts, followed by Australia 4 pts, England 2 pts and Nigeria 0 pts.
Group C: Currently at the top of the group is Bangladesh 5 pts, followed by Pakistan 5 pts, Zimbabwe 2 pts and Scotland 0 pts.
Group D: Currently at the top of the group is Afghanistan 5 pts, followed by South Africa 4 pts, United Arab Emirates 2 pts and Canada 1 pt.

The matches that will be held in Benoni at Willowmoore Park Stadium are on the following days:
Monday, February 3 – 9th place vs 10th place
Wednesday, February 5 – 7th place vs 9th place
Friday, February 7 – 5th place vs 6th place
Saturday, February 8 – 3rd place vs 4th place
South Africa have played the following games so far:
January 17 – Afghanistan won by 7 wickets against South Africa (Kimberley)
January 22 – South Africa won by 150 runs against Canada (Potchefstroom)
January 25 – South Africa won by 23 runs against United Arab Emirates (Bloemfontein)
January 30 – Bangladesh won by 104 runs against South Africa (Potchefstroom).
South Africa’s next game will be in Potchefstroom against the West Indies on February 1.
