Benoni Northerns relieve their ‘Aches and Pains’
Of the 155 runners who lined up at the start, 134 BNAC members finished, collectively raking in one silver, 17 Bill Rowan medals, 29 Robert Mtshali, 39 bronze and 48 Vic Clapham medals.
Running in the Comrades Marathon is serious business and takes its toll on the body both mentally and physically.
But every runner looks forward to their own club’s traditional ‘Aches and Pains’ function, which is an opportunity for runners to recollect their shared experiences on the road in a light-hearted, fun and informal way.
