Medals aplenty at Great North 3 Kickboxing Championships

Great stuff from the locals.

Seen here are, back: Seun Castelyn (coach) and Christiena Castelyn (manager). Front: Hannes Castelyn (one gold and one silver medal), Nazirah Hassan (two gold medals), Taahirah Cajee (one gold and one silver medal), Shante Castelyn (two gold medals) and shihan Aslam Mahomed (chief instructor).

The Great North 3 Kickboxing Championships were held on October 13 at the Military Base in Valhalla, Pretoria.

The United Martial Arts International Benoni Dojo had four kickboxers participating at the champs.

The team performed well by winning eight medals.
