Benoni Northerns Football Club’s u-19s can’t stop the success

The young lads have done it again.

Benoni Northerns Football Club’s u-19 team continues their winning ways.

After winning the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Colts (u-20) League in 2017, the team was invited this year to play in the u-19 cross-border Super League.

The team won the league on September 30 after beating Bryanston Tigers 7-0 away from home. The team has remained unbeaten throughout the season and their statistics reflect that.

They played 22 matches, won 20, drew two, scored 85 goals and conceded 17 goals.

The team has also made the u-19 Super League Cup final to be played at Corinthians Football Club on October 13. They will play against the league runners-up Kempton Park FC (Norkem High Academy).

Coaches Enrique Juanas-Uriol, Leonard van Rooyen and Marlon Jordaan are proud of their players’ accomplishments.
