Local sailors well represented on the Vaal

Benoni Sailing Club was strongly represented at this weekend’s Northern Region Provincial Regatta at the Vaal Dam. Matthew Inglis of Ashton International College took top honours in the open class on a Laser Radial.

Jordan Cox won the Laser 4.7 class. Club members Peter Clayton, Patrick Federer, Iris Chang, Megan Peers, Mandisa Khumalo and Dennis Flammer all sailed lasers while Dudley Thomson and Brian Pratt represented BSC on a 505.
