Hennessy happy with international debut

Despite not achieving her desired goal, the fitness model is feeling more determined than ever.

Rynfield resident Meghan Hennessy headed to Singapore for the 2018 World Fitness Federation (WFF) Universe competition held on July 1.

Although the fitness model did not feature in the top six as desired she is grateful to have competed on the world stage for the first time.

“Competing at an international level in Singapore was an experience of a lifetime,” she said.

“I was in my best condition to date and prepped harder than I have ever prepped before.

“The competition was incredible and standing on stage next to seasoned professionals was mind-blowing.

“I felt proud knowing that I had put in my best.

“Not featuring in the top six was a bit disappointing, but it was my first international show.

“I know I put in the work and I looked better than I have ever looked so that for me that was a win on its own.

“I will be going back to the drawing board to start my preparation for my next international show.

“I am aiming to compete at the world championships in California in the USA in November.”
