April 14 was not a good day for Benoni Northerns Rugby Club.
The club’s second and first XVs played their first home matches at Northern Areas of the 2018 Valke Merlin League campaign when they hosted Nigel Rugby Club.
Following defeats in Sasolburg last week, they were again on the losing end.
The second side was defeated 47-0 while the first team went down 64-12 to Nigel.
They will hope to make it up when they play Meyerton at Nigel’s Rugby Day on April 21.
