For that reason, we have laced up our shoes and have again joined race organisers Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC) for the third time as media partners on the road to the 2018 Profix Robor Scaffolding Marathon to be held on April 29 at 6.30am.
The race offers a 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half-marathon, 10km race and 5km fun run.
Look out for our map of affected roads in the lead up to the race.
Jan Jordaan, race organiser at BNAC, commented on the media partnership: “I think it is so fantastic that the local newspaper is prepared to get involved in community activities.
“BNAC is extremely excited about the BCT’s contribution as media partners.
“This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.
“Headline sponsors Robor Scaffolding are going to put up a display that has never been seen before in this town.”
