Juniors have a ball (and burgers) at Actonville Spurs’ u-12 festival

Actonville Spurs Cricket Club held an u-12 junior cricket festival at Lords Cricket Grounds on February 24. The festival saw 20 clubs from the Eastern region participating with approximately 250 young cricketers enjoying a day of fun.

Club public relations officer Zunaid Seedat said that there was no finals played on the day as the emphasis was on having fun and getting children from different backgrounds to mix together all in the name of cricket.

Every child received a medal and a voucher from the event sponsor, Indianapolis Spur.
