Local parkrunners make history

History was made for parkrun South Africa at the Ebotse parkrun on the morning of November 4 when Nadine Evans, the four millionth person to register for her parkrun barcode, ran the local 5km route.

It wasn’t the only milestone celebrated on the day for the popular weekly fitness event.

The speedy Heinrich Kamffer (who calls the Ebotse parkrun his home course) became the first male parkrunner to win 100 parkruns in the country.
