Rynfield Primary appoints Olympic athlete

Rynfield Primary School recently appointed Olympic athlete Geraldine Pillay to its sports department.

She is a multiple South African champion over 100m and 200m.

She also represented South Africa at the 2004 Olympic Games, as well as the 2003, 2005 and 2007 World Championships.

Her personal best in the 100m is 11:07 and in the 200m 22:78. These are but a few of her accolades.

“We look forward to the impact she will have on Rynfield Primary School athletes,” the school said in a statement.
