Young hockey lovers get ready to go at Benoni Northerns
Benoni Northerns Junior Hockey Club’s (BNJH) will hold their annual round robin tournament for the u-5 to u-13 age groups on July 29.
The popular tournament takes place from 7am to 1pm at Benoni Northerns Sports Club.
The event also serves as a much-needed fundraiser for the hockey section.
Matches will, like last year, be played in front of the main clubhouse as well as at the two supporting venues, the St Dunstan’s College AstroTurf and the Eastern Gauteng Hockey Association (EGHA) AstroTurf.
Last year’s tourney attracted well over 1 000 eager young hockey players from across Johannesburg including development sides.
