Toasting to blisters and black toe-nails at Aches and Pain

Benoni Harriers Athletic Club held their annual post-Comrades Marathon Aches and Pains dinner and prize-giving at The Classic India in Boksburg on Saturday, June 24.

Benoni Harriers Athletic Club honoured club legend and stalwart Danny Oosthuizen (left) for his efforts in growing the club and the sport of road running in Benoni over the years, with the club’s special Top Gun Award for 2017. He is seen with Ashvin Jivan (chairman of Benoni Harriers Athletic Club).
The only woman Comrades runner and finisher from the club, Melissa Barnard, is seen with club stalwart Dullip Nana at the event.
