Easterns to host national u-17 week
Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) Momentum u-17 National Cricket Week comes to the Eastern Cricket Union region from Sunday, November 11 to Thursday, December 15.
Some of the country’s best budding cricketers will be strutting their stuff in the hopes of catching the eye of CSA’s selectors.
Benoni’s Willowmore Park, Benoni Northerns Cricket Club (BNCC) and St Dunstan’s College will be utilised during the national week, along with CBC Boksburg, Kempton Park Cricket Club and St Benedicts College (Bedfordview).
Young players from Boland, Border, Easterns, Eastern Province, Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, KwaZulu-Natal Inland, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northerns, Northern Cape, North West, South Western Districts, Western Province and Zimbabwe will be competing.
Days one and two will be declaration cricket, Day three will see two T20 games being played and days four and five will be played in limited over format (50 overs).
