Celebrate 40 years at MTB race and trail run
Hop onto your mountain bike saddle or lace up your running shoes for the Farrarmere Primary School Mountain Bike (MTB) Race and Trail Run, on Sunday, October 30.
Join the school in celebrating their 40th anniversary at the brand new starting venue, at Benoni Country Club.
Sponsored by Pick n Pay Oakfields and MF Autobody, the event, now in its third year, aims to raise funds for the school and is growing year by year, with a strong focus on good, old fashioned family fun.
The MTB races (32km, 18km, 5km and 1km) will start at 7am, with the trail runs (5km and 8km) set to start at noon.
Prize-giving will take place at 1.30pm.
The distances offered for Mountain Biking are 32km, 18km, 5km and 1km.
Entries can still be done at registration, from 6am, or at Cycle Lab East Rand, tomorrow (Friday, October 28), from 11am to 3pm, or on Saturday, October 29, from 10am to 1pm.
