Glow big or glow home
The fun-filled community event that is the Rowlin National Glow Run will light up Benoni’s streets and kick-start the arrival of the festive season on the night of Wednesday, November 2.
The race, hosted by Benoni Northerns Athletics Club (BNAC), is run in accordance with the rules of Athletics South Africa (ASA) and Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA).
Entries for the 5km fun run, 10km and 15km distances are taken at the start of the race, in Brodigan Street, from 5pm, while online entries have closed.
Medals will be handed out to all finishers and there will also be prizes for the best dressed participants.
Residents are encouraged to show their support for runners along the route, while motorists are urged to show patience, as certain roads will be affected.
