Benoni students shine on home ground
The Tenshinkan Style World International “Kancho Cup” Championships were held at the John Barrable Hall recently where karatekas from around the world came to participate.
Over 800 participants competed.
It was the first time in 10 years that a world championship in the style was held in South Africa.
These students from the Benoni dojo at the World Lifestyle Centre, based in O’Reilly Merry Street, did extremely well and won medals at the championships.
