Free State Stars set up shop at Northerns
Absa Premier Soccer League (PSL) club Free State Stars Football Club has once again made Benoni Northerns their pre-season base camp ahead of the upcoming 2016/2017 PSL season.

“Ea Lla Koto”, as they are nicknamed, are seen (in green) playing a friendly match against Durban-based National First Division side Royal Eagles (in black) at Northerns.
The club has been in the news recently after a failed takeover bid from a consortium, which owns Moroka Swallows, led by Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi.
