Jet fighters set to jostle it out at Rynfield Dam

Jaw-dropping jet-ski racing action is ready to roar at the Rynfield Dam.

Benonian Jared Moore will be making a splash on the water on his jet ski, when the fifth round of the SAJSBA National Jetski Series comes back to the Rynfield Dam, on Saturday.

On Saturday, August 6, the fifth round of the South African Jetsport Boating Association (SAJSBA) National Jetski Series will take place at the East Rand Speedboat Club (ERSC).

Benonian Jared Moore, a world champion, will be one of the racers to watch on the day, while other experienced riders will provide action for spectators in a number of classes.

• The programme for Saturday is:

Scrutineering and final race entry at 8.30am to 9am; rider’s briefing from 8.30am to 9am; ski and sport class practise from 9am to 9.15am; runabout and Booster Cup practise from 9.15am to 9.30am; Moto 1 (all classes) from 9.30am to 11.30am; Moto 2 (all classes) from 11.30am to 1.30pm; lunch break from 1.30pm to 2pm; Moto 3 (all classes) from 2pm to 4.30pm; enduro from 4pm to 4.30pm; prize-giving at 5pm.
