Western Province claim the prize in the East Rand

Western Province’s women’s Country Districts side partied well into the night on Friday, July 8, after they claimed a 1-0 victory in the final match of the South African Ladies Country Districts tournament at the Eastern Gauteng Hockey Association (EGHA) AstroTurf.

Sweet sweet victory for Western Province.

They outfoxed Eastern Province in a good display of competitive women’s hockey to lift the cup.

KwaZulu-Natal Inlands claimed third place with a 2-0 victory over Northern Blues A.
