Disappointment after draw
Despite coming back to draw 2-2 after going down 2-0 away to Olympia on Saturday, May 28, Benoni Northerns Football Club’s first team are disappointed by their display in Bedfordview.
Skyeler van den Berg and Joel Nchabeleng found the back of the net for the Benoni outfit in the ELFA Super League game where, according to skipper Wade Marshall (who missed the match through injury), they “deserved all three points”.
“We were disappointed not to capitalise on the confidence from last weekend’s derby win and we should have got the win after dominating most of the second half,” said Marshall.
The team will host an extremely strong opponent, Randburg, at Northern Areas on Saturday, June 4.
