Take part in a six-hour MTB race at BCC

The Arrow Stationers Benoni Country Club Six-hour Mountain Bike (MTB) Cycle Race will take place on Saturday, April 9.

Benoni Country Club (BCC) has hosted countless significant golfing events throughout their proud history.

Now, for the very first time, BCC proudly presents their first ever cycle race on the grounds of the century old country club.

The route blends both jeep track and the beautiful forest single track into a seamless 8.2km loop.

Both the jeep and single track are evenly interspersed to help prevent bottlenecks.

The single track is also both easy to negotiate and cut extremely wide, to allow easy passing in all areas.

All technical obstacles have purposely been avoided.

The race will bring together both the casual cyclist and the racing community on a trail that all levels of cyclists can enjoy at their own pace.

The clubhouse serves as the perfect venue for both competitors and their friends and families to enjoy an evening full of fun and enjoyment.

Competitors will all receive a generous goodie bag, with a free technical long sleeve shirt as well as sample products from the sponsors.

Cash prizes are on offer for all category winners, as well as for the fastest lap.

All competitors are eligible for a few prize giveaways.

The race will take place from 5pm to 11pm.

Single cyclists or teams can enter at www.bikeabout.co.za (entries will be taken on the day).
