The club has joined forces with Metro Stars, an independent company comprising of former professional players, coaches and sports medical professionals, in order to offer local youths at u-13, u-15 and u-17 age group level academy style training.
Open trials will continue on Saturday, January 30, for u-13, u-15 and u-17s at the football ground (corner President Boshoff and President Brand roads).
Trials will commence at 8.30am sharp.
The club is looking for elite players and talents at u-13 (born after 2003), u-15 (born after 2001) and u-17 (born after 1999) levels.
Coaches in attendance will be Dillon Sheppard, former Bafana Bafana player and current Bidvest Wits midfielder, Sashi Chalwe, former Mamelodi Sundowns and Zambian international player and Thabang Stemmer (goalkeeper coach), former Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic player.
All are welcome to attend the sessions, however, ages will be checked.
Players are urged to bring some form of identification with them that includes a birth date.
