Monaco’s rugby team visits SA with Princess Charlene’s foundation

In the context of the South Africa – Monaco Exchange Programme (Sports and Education Exchange), the Monégasque u-16 rugby team is currently visiting South Africa until July 28.

The Monaco team will have the great honor to play against the South African u-16 team at Ellis Park Stadium, in Johannesburg, before the big game between South Africa and New Zealand on Saturday, July 25.

The team, together with Gareth Wittstock, also took a tour of Soweto on Thursday, July 23, and they will continue to visit other historic South African land-marks in between their games.

Prince Albert is also due to visit South Africa next week on official business, but his wife, HSH Princess Charlene, will not be traveling with him.

The rugby team will return to Monaco on Monday, July 27.
