Having made a superb comeback in their 8-7 win over rivals Boksburg Cardinals, last week, the team again pulled off a come-from-behind victory, by the very same score line, after trailing early on Sunday, February 15, against Randburg Mets.
The Major As welcomed head coach Ashley Scott back as a player for the first time this season, and he threw particularly well.
Scott threw five innings and closed the game out for the home side, while Bradleigh Peters hit well for the Indians.
“We are looking good at the moment and getting closer and closer to the top of the table,” said the player/coach.
